Green Policy

At Cyntergy, we are committed to doing all we can to reduce the impact we have on the environment, and this includes our own, individual, carbon footprint.

Despite only being owners of the business for a short time (June 08), we have made steps that demonstrate our real intent to make the business more carbon neutral and, at the very least, a great deal more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

With the full support of our team, we have introduced recycling for plastic cups, soft drink cans, paper and cardboard. Trials of some of our Helpdesk analysts working from home have been implemented, which reduces the effects of car travel as well as providing benefits for the individual. Early signs are exceptionally positive.

At our offices in Sunbury, we are testing software that remotely switches off electronic devices when not in use, as opposed to leaving them on standby.

Other ideas include making better use of technology to allow for more efficient and customer-friendly communication tools.

There is a long way to go, and not without expense, but we are determined to succeed. We think it is worth it.
