Six Flags

US Theme Park operator, Six Flags, rolls out eLearning solution.

Six Flags had an unusual problem. With its 23 theme parks, and 20,000 staff, it is a seasonal business, so every year all its customer facing staff had to be trained on Matra’s Freedom PoS for Six Flag's admissions and retail sales.

Cyntergy created and delivered an eLearning package to Six Flags which enabled individual training of all staff, and measured the individual’s attainment. A series of modules were developed for each transactional element of the park, including admissions, retail store merchandising and food outlets. In addition, eLearning was also developed for more specialised training for back office users and for supervisory staff. The package can be repeated as often as necessary for new starters.

Six Flags are so pleased with the results that they have now commissioned Cyntergy to produce a version of the eLearning programme in Spanish Mexican for delivery next season.
