The TJX Group of companies has an established IT support infrastructure in the US servicing over 1650 stores, however, entry into the European markets highlighted some issues. As TK Maxx’s Peter Harvey, Store Systems Manager, said "When we first launched in the UK we used the US IT support. However, when we reached 70 stores in the UK & Ireland with a dynamic expansion plan, it became clear that we needed a dedicated European service. We needed a technology partner with roots in the retail industry and the experience and capability to support all our in-store technologies.
